New ad boards go up at Wrigley Field

COMMENT ON THIS STORY
CHICAGO (CBS) ― In one of the first moves by Ricketts family, fans are going to own some awkward new ads at Wrigley Field next season.
The Cubs put up new sign boards in the bleachers, and they're not exactly inconspicuous.
They are primarily there to obscure the view of the Horseshoe Casino sign, which is wrapped around the rooftop of a spire-peaked building at Waveland and Kenmore avenues in left field.
The rooftop was home to a Budweiser ad for 13 years, until the owner of the rooftop wriggled out of the contract. The owner, Tom Gramatis, put a tarp over the Budweiser sign just before the playoffs last year, claiming that Anheuser-Busch was late with its payments, the Chicago Tribune reported.
A judge demanded that the tarp come down before the playoffs, but Gramatis eventually signed with the casino to take over the ad space, the Tribune reported.
Budweiser is expected to be an advertiser on the new signs.
