CHICAGO (WBBM) - Rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent made a noontime appearance at Macy's on State Street to pose for photos with fans and to push his latest business venture.
It's called Power: 50 Cent's new fragrance for men and as fans noted, it comes in a very distinctive bottle.
"It's a pretty cool bottle," says Ted Prosk of Chicago and that it, "almost looks like a hand grenade."
In the line of several hundred people: Tiffany Jackson of Chicago, "I'm like his number-one fan and I just had to see him. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to actually be able to touch him."
And we spoke with her after she waited in line - and posed for a photo with 50, "I got to talk to him. They had to pull me off the stage to let him go because I wouldn't let him go. I'm like, 'He's mine!'"
Price of admission: the cost of a bottle of the new fragrance: 68 dollars and what else - 50 cents.
