Police out in force on Halloween

CHICAGO (STNG) -- CHICAGO (AP) - Halloween partygoers who imbibe in too many treats that impair their driving need to beware of the police.
The Illinois Department of Transportation said state police and local law enforcement will be out in force Saturday looking for drunk drivers.
They're message is simple: Designate a sober driver to get you home or take public transportation.
The state cited National Highway Traffic Safety Administration data that showed 58 percent of all highway fatalities last Halloween involved a drunk driver.
