Like Bill Maher's mother said in the movie " If anything, religion teaches good, How can that be wrong ? If it gives people faith to wake up each day and carry on through life how can that be bad ?? Not sayin jus sayin........

I dont understand why people are so angry about this. I belive in God but im not going to force my belifs on anyone and Im not going to judge or condem anyone for not beliving what I belive in. Dose'nt the bible say jude not lest ye be juged. If thats what they belive on then so be it they may change on their own or not. What they belive in dose not directly impact me so why am I going to get angry about it.

HE always finds a way to make lemonade out of life's lemons and I have faith that someone will take sip out of this glass. :)

It's about time someone helps the world start to be less like mindless sheep and more like thoughtful spiritual beings. Religion is nothing more than control...period end of story. It's time to wake up! Think outside your box people.

No religious belief system has a monopoly on kindness, respect, forgiveness, compassion, and understanding - including atheists. A person's character and actions are the measure of 'goodness' of a person, not her/his religious beliefs, whatever those may be. Believe in god by any name or not, how you live your life is what matters.

It's not about been Good, We have a lot of people that good, it's about a relationship with God, and believing and trusting and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. it's about Repent of your sins. Because you can be a good person, but are you save, and living for the Lord.

When you die, who will pray outside your box?

Maybe the problem is organized religion and not the belief in God.

Many of you are no different than me. I just believe in one fewer god than you do.

This is an excuse for people who don't know God to continue ignoring him. To be separated from God in this lifetime is,fortunately, cureable. To be separated from God for all eternity, that would be hell.

I don't know about you...I only know that since I strated to understand Jesus' teachings, I have become a better daughter, a better neighbor, a better person, and although I am for the First Ammendment, I choose to keep my faith in God.

"Without Faith there is no Hope, Without Hope there is no Faith this is true of ALL RELIGIONS" no matter who or what you believe it all comes down to Faith and Hope I may turn away from going to a church, but my faith is always there and I always have hope. God is with all religions just called by different names, and He just wants us to follow the greatest commandment about loving one another..and follow the 10 Commandments.

Why would 'Awesome' want anyone to pray for him/her? If there's no God and no afterlife, there's really no point to it, is there?

I too, lost a child. The experience was very painful, but it didn't make me want to believe in God. Not everyone is comforted by the beliefs that comfort you.

Is the problem with organized religion or with people. If organized religion is the problem, then it only suggests that people are not good. If people are "good" without God, that is fine. But it seems slightly arrogant, like a 1 year old that learned how to walk and eat and says, "now I don't need my parents."

I love the sign. I think there should be more of them.

it is no more arrogant than the signs saying I need to seek jesus to avoid hell.

I recently talked to a few religion friends and I asked them if I don't believe in god does that mean I'll go to hell when I die? Even if I don't know WHAT god to believe in because there are so many? Almost all of them said it doesn't matter, I have to get "saved" before I die or I'll go to hell. I refuse to believe in a god that's so simple minded it can't understand that every religion thinks they are right in what they believe. Kind of makes it hard for those of us who seek the truth. Doesn't it?

No one is 100% good. That's why we need God to save us from all of this - from ourselves. To the person seeking what God to follow, just sincerely call out to the One True God and ask Him to show you the way. He will, and He will help you to understand why He is the only Way, and why ALL of us need Him.
