Crews on scene of heavy fire on Northwest Side

Emergency crews are on the scene of a three alarm fire at a liquidation company building on the Northwest Side Sunday night, officials said.
Crews responded about 9 p.m. to the fire in a liquidation company building at 5617 W. Belmont Ave., according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Quention Curtis.
Flames were leaping 15 to 20 feet in the air at the scene of the heavy fire, Curtis said. There were no injuries as of 9:40 p.m.
Further details were not immediately available.
