CHICAGO (WBBM) -- The Shedd Aquarium has just debuted its newest Oceanarium show, "the last piece of the puzzle" from the $50 million renovation of the Oceanarium.
It’s a marine mammal show called Fantasea.
Shedd spokesman Roger Germann says one thing guests have been saying is that they want the Shedd to be more entertaining while, at the same time, remaining focused on education and conservation. He says "Fantasea" accomplishes that.
Germann says, "You’ll see all kinds of animals from sea lions to belugas whales to dolphins…really bringing our entire oceanarium together in a 22 minute dynamic show."
Germann says because of the economy, the Shedd has not raised its prices, even after the renovation of the Oceanarium.
You can get an even better deal until next Thursday. General admission to the Aquarium is free until then and the Oceanarium price is discounted.
