CHICAGO (STNG) --Police have released surveillance images of two men wanted in a series of recent thefts of stand-alone ATM machines.
The thefts occurred during late evening to early morning hours, according to a Belmont Area detectives business alert. The locations of the reported thefts were in the 200 block of West Adams; near North Michigan Avenue; State and Adam streets and in the 300 block of South Michigan Avenue.
Video surveillance captured the suspects hovering around one of the burglarized machines at the time of theft, the alert said. Both arrived in a large red pick up truck, which is featured on the surveillance video.
All four thefts were from buildings where stand-alone ATMs were located.
One of the suspects is described as a bald white man between 30 and 40-years-old, about 270 pounds. The second suspect is described as a white man between 30 and 40-years-old with brown hair and a fair complexion.
