CHICAGO (WBBM) -- The U.S. Secret Service says it has analyzed the videotape made at the scene of the beating death of 16-year-old Derrion Albert - and has some preliminary results.
It was the Chicago Police Department that asked the Secret Service to enhance the very graphic videotape, using equipment the police do not have, to find the identities of three young men.
Authorities had already used the tape to I-D four teenagers - and charge them with first degree murder in the death of Derrion Albert.
Now Secret Service spokeswoman Kristina Schmidt says - "We do have some preliminary results that we have shared with the Chicago Police Department, and we continue to work further to come up with additional results."
A spokesman for Chicago Police says - "We don't have anyone in custody yet so it's too soon to talk about results. We're anxious to identify those kids and bring them to justice."
