CHICAGO (WBBM) -- The Chicago FBI says the bank robber known as the TCF Bandit has struck again today.
The FBI says the latest target in the western suburbs had already been hit twice before - by the TCF Bandit.
Investigators say sometimes banks are robbed twice by the same bandit.
But FBI spokesman Ross Rice says the TCF Bank in a Jewel in LaGrange Park has now been hit three times.
"I know the hockey season is over, but we had a hat trick in bank robbery terms today. A serial bank robber that we've been looking for for a couple of years, that we've dubbed the TCF Bandit, struck again this morning.
"He robbed a TCF branch in LaGrange Park for what we believe is the third time."
Rice says the last time the TCF Bandit hit that same branch was in March of last year.
Rice says no one was hurt in the robbery.
A 15-thousand dollar reward is offered for information leading to the conviction of the TCF Bandit.
Rice says the TCF Bandit has robbed nine banks, dating back to 2007.
