MONTGOMERY (STNG) -- An Aurora man was charged with burglary Friday after security guards noticed his attempts to "fish" jewelry with a wire hanger at a west suburban store.
Jesus Padron-Gonzalez, 28, of the 300 block of South Broadway in Aurora, was charged with the burglary, according to a Montgomery police release.
Police initially responded to a business in the 1900 block of South Douglas Road in Montgomery Friday morning after Padron-Gonzales was viewed by store security attempting to “fish’ jewelry items with a wire hanger through seams in a display glass, the release said.
He was taken into custody without incident and was scheduled to appear for a bond hearing Saturday in Kendall County, the release said.
