FBI searches for Chicago man

CHICAGO (AP) - The FBI is searching for a 28-year-old Chicago man who's been convicted in a 2003 murder.

The FBI says Jesus Sanchez was convicted in absentia of killing a 25-year-old man in what appears to be a gang-related murder. Sanchez was sentenced to 27 years in prison.

Sanchez is believed to be a member of the Latin Saints street gang. His last known address was on Chicago's Southwest Side.
The FBI says he's known on the street as ``Shamu'' and ``Jessie.''

The case is being investigated by the FBI's violent crimes task force, which includes special agents, Chicago police detectives and Cook County Sheriff's office investigators.
