London-bound plane diverted to O'Hare

CHICAGO (STNG) -- An American Airlines airplane made an unscheduled landing at O’Hare Airport Thursday night after the pilot reported a possible electrical problem on the aircraft, Chicago Police said.
An American Airlines Being 767-300 plane landed at O’Hare Airport about 10 p.m. after the pilot reported an electrical problem, according to police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines.
The plane was en route to London’s Heathrow Airport from Dallas-Ft. Worth Airport, Gaines said.
Firefighters sprayed the plane’s breaks as a precaution, Gaines said.
Nobody was injured.
