Person struck by Metra train on South Side

CHICAGO (STNG) -- A person has been struck and reportedly killed by a Metra train on the South Side Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened on the Metra Electric Line, at 7900 S. Exchange Ave., according to unconfirmed dispatch reports.
Reportedly, one person was killed and another injured.
Metra Electric Line trains are being delayed and as of 4:48 p.m. at least one run has been canceled, because of the incident, according to Metra's Web site.
