Reward offered for information on fatal hit-and-run

CHICAGO (STNG) -- The family of a 13-year-old boy killed in an April hit-and-run crash on the Southwest Side are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
Martin Urbina Jr., 13, was struck by a car about 8:30 p.m. April 3 as he crossed the 5900 block of South California, authorities said.
The car is described as a gold, four-door vehicle that sustained damaged to the windshield in the accident, police said. The car did not stop and continued north on California Avenue.
Urbina, of the 3900 block of W. 70th Pl., was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn at 9:06 p.m. April 3, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
A $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information on the accident and leads to an arrest of the driver.
