A lone man walked into the bank armed with a silver semi-automatic pistol, and handed the teller a note announcing a robbery and threatening harm if his demands for cash were not met.
After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction, the release said. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a black male 35-45, 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds with facial stubble, wearing a beige button-down shirt and gray slacks. He should be considered armed and dangerous, the release said.
