Victim Dies, Was Shot Monday

FORD HEIGHTS-- A Chicago Heights man shot on Monday in Ford Heights died Wednesday night, authorities said.

Brandon Riley, 23, of Standish Street  in Chicago Heights, was shot Monday near 11th Street and Lexington Avenue according to the Cook County Medical Examiner. He died wedensday in Advocate Christ Medical Center.

The Cook County Sheriff’s office is investigating the apparent homicide, but further details are not immediately available.
