One Killed in Far South Side Crash



CHICAGO -- One person is dead  and two others critically injured in a traffic accident on the Far South Side early Sunday.

The accident happened about 3:20 a.m. at 111th Street and Western Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer John Henry.

The crash involved multiple vehicles. One victim is dead on the scene, according to Henry.

Two others are in “critical” condition at Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in Evergreen Park.

The accident is being investigated by the police Major Accident Investigation Unit
