Suspected Toilet Arsonist Arrested

CARY, Ill. (WBBM) - An 18-year old man from Big Rock, Ill. is in custody in connection with fires allegedly set in three rest rooms in the Cary area last month.

Thomas Meehan is facing three counts of arson for fires set in a bathroom stall at the Saints Peter and Paul Church and a pair of portable toilets at Lions Park South.

None of the fires injured anyone or caused significant damage outside the toilets.

Police say they still have no motive for the incidents.
