CHICAGO (STNG)  -- A 12-year-old Humboldt Park girl who never came home after she was seen playing outside of her home Wednesday afternoon returned home safely Friday morning.

Kali Moody of 1048 N. Spaulding Ave.,was playing on the corner of West Division Street and North Spaulding Avenue around 4 p.m. Wednesday, but never came home.

At 9:30 a.m. Friday, the girl returned home safely, according to police News Affairs.

Kali had stayed overnight at a friend’s home, according to News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak, who said the girl was not injured.
