Deadline Wednesday To Request Economic Stimulus Check
CHICAGO (AP) - Almost 100,000 Chicago-area residents haven't yet filed for their IRS economic stimulus checks, leaving almost $30 million unclaimed.

The deadline to file is tomorrow (Wednesday). Illinois ranks 7th in the nation for the number of people who haven't filed, leaving close to $46 million unclaimed. Among cities, Chicago is second in the country with almost 45,000 people who haven't filed.
Nationwide, 4.3 million people haven't filed for their rebates, leaving $1.3 billion on the table.
