Oct. 10: Harris' Knee Still Sore

INJURY UPDATE
For the second time this week defensive tackle Tommie Harris was limited by a sore left knee.

Linebacker Nick Roach (shoulder) was also limited. Cornerbacks Charles Tillman (shoulder), and Nathan Vasher( wrist) returned to full participation. Defensive tackle Anthony Adams (ankle) and WR Brandon Lloyd (left knee sprain) were out.

For the Falcons, starting receiver Roddy White (head) did not participate in practice.

MODERN-DAY JIM BROWN

Linebacker Lance Briggs described Atlanta running back Michael Turner as a "modern day Jim Brown" when asked about the NFL rushing leader.

That's apparently how linebacker coach Lloyd Lee described Turner in position meetings this week. Lee called it an attention grabber.  Turner is 244 pounds and difficult to tackle.

He's also equipped with 4.4 speed to take it the distance.

Two teams have slowed him down: Tampa and Carolina.
