CHICAGO (STNG)  -- A man who said he had a knife forced his way into a woman’s apartment and raped her Wednesday night in the South Side’s Kenwood neighborhood, sources said.

The woman was talking to her boyfriend on a cell phone as she entered her apartment in the 1300 block of East Hyde Park Boulevard when a man “came in behind her and grabbed her” about 10 p.m., according to a police source. The man implied he had a knife and allegedly told the woman he was going to kill her, but never showed the weapon.
