Fox Chief's Osama Comment No Biggie, Says Obama

DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - Barack Obama says he didn't take great offense to a recent comment by the Fox News chief.

Fox's Roger Ailes recently made a remark about the similarities between the Illinois senator's name and al-Qaida leader Osama Bin Laden.

Obama told The Associated Press Sunday in Iowa that he didn't take great offense and he added that he's been called worse in his life.

Ailes made the comparison to Bin Laden's name at an event in Washington on Thursday.

The Nevada Democratic Party announced on Friday that it had canceled a presidential debate in August that was to be co-hosted by Fox News Channel. It cited Ailes' comment.
