Warrant Out for Man Accused of Stealing, Using Employer's Credit Card

WOODSTOCK--Fernando DeJesus Pulido, 20, is wanted for allegedly fraudulently using his employer’s credit card to purchase satellite television.
A warrant of arrest was issued for Pulido, of 933 S. Lake St. in Mundelein. He is accused of stealing cash and a credit card from his employer’s vehicle while working as a groomer at a horse farm in the 5000 block of Mt. Thabor Road in Woodstock, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s department was alerted to the theft on July 3 after Pulido’s employer said cash had been stolen from his vehicle, which Pulido used during his time on the job. The farm owner also reported that a debit card had been stolen and used to pay for a Direct TV account set up in Pulido’s name, the release said.

Pulido is charged with unlawful use of a credit card and theft over $300, both Class 3 felonies. He could face up to six years in prison if convicted, according to the release.

His bond has been set at $20,000.

Anyone with information regarding Pulido’s whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division at (815) 338-2144 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 762-7867.
