CHICAGO (WBBM) -- The uBid logo is coming off Jennifer Gordon's pregnant belly today, and neither she nor the company has any regrets about their Super Bowl stunt.
As WBBM's Regine Schlesinger reports, Gordon, whose baby is due on March 10th, traded advertising space on her belly for tickets for herself and her husband, Mitchell, to the Super Bowl.
While she's disappointed the Bears lost, she says it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a great story to tell her child someday.
And she says her association with online auction site uBid.com isn't over yet. (Photo credit: ubid.com)
The Chicago-based company is now sponsoring a baby pool on its Web site in which people can try to guess the date, time and gender of Gordon's baby. The one who comes closest wins tickets to next year's Super Bowl.
uBid CEO Bob Tomlinson says even though Gordon never made it onto national television during the game, the free publicity the stunt brought his company was well worth the two Super Bowl tickets it cost.
He says it was a much better publicity stunt than the Time Warner fiasco last week when devices planted in Chicago and other cities to promote a show on Cable television's Cartoon Network generated a panic attack in Boston.
