SW Side Pothole Swallows Min Van

CHICAGO (WBBM)  -- City crews are on the scene of a 10-foot-wide, 8-foot-deep sinkhole that swallowed a minivan Monday morning in the Southwest Side Little Village neighbborhood.

No injuries were reported at 2614 W. Luther St., which is near 24th Street and California Avenue, according to police News Afairs Officer Marcel Bright.

A minivan fell into the hole overnight, but it has since been pulled out, he said.
