CICERO-- Julian Noriega, 16, is in custody for allegedly shooting a 15-year-old boy multiple times after an altercation at a party Friday night.
Noriega, of Cicero was arrested for allegedly shooting the victim three times in the back at a party at 5022 W. 31st Place in Cicero at about 9:15 p.m. Friday, according to Cicero police spokesman Dan Proft. A .32-caliber revolver was recovered with the help of witnesses.
The victim is in “stable” but critical condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, Proft said. Multiple felony charges are expected, Proft said.
The boys were apparently attending the same party when they began to argue. Noriega then allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the victim as he attempted to flee, according to Proft.
Noriega is scheduled to appear in bond court in Cook County Tuesday.
