Divorce Lawyers Kept Busy On Valentine's Day

CHICAGO (WBBM) - It's Valentine's Day, a time for love and, according to divorce lawyers, the busiest time of the year for couples to break up.

The story from WBBM's Regine Schlesinger.

Chicago divorce attorney Pam Hutul says this is the most romantic day of the year and, for many couples, it's the time they take stock of their marriage.

She says the first two months of the year, right after the holidays, see more divorce filings than any other time.

While Valentine's Day is a time to celebrate love, for the newly-single, she says, it can be a time of excruciating heartbreak.
