Attention Commuters: CTA Announces Temporary Track Change

CHICAGO -- Southbound CTA Blue Line trains will temporarily be operating on northbound tracks starting Tuesday night at the Addison station.

According to a CTA release, southbound Blue Line trains (O’Hare branch) will run on the northbound tracks at the Addison station starting 10 p.m. Tuesday. Trains will be running on the northbound tracks until 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Travelers should board southbound trains at the northbound platform, the release said.

The CTA advises travelers to allow extra travel time. The temporary track change is caused by track work.
