Web Photos Lead to Arrest Of Glenbard South Students, Woman

Four DuPage County teenagers and a Glen Ellyn area homeowner are in trouble with the law -- because of what a sharp-eyed sheriff's deputy found on the Internet.

Jessica Holz, of 21W238 Coronet Dr., in unincorporated Glen Ellyn, faces charges for hosting the party in her home Saturday night; the unnamed teens are charged with alcohol possession.

There were no injuries at the party and no complaints about it.  Sheriff John Zaruba said police had no knowledge of the party until the deputy, who works as a School Resource Officer at Glenbard South High School, found photos Monday on an Internet blog showing four students from the school drinking.

Zaruba said that follow-up investigation determined where the party took place, the Holz had been home at the time, and that she knew the drinking was taking place.

Holz was arrested Wednesday and posted $100 bond.
