24-year-old Englewood Man Shot Dead

CHICAGO (STNG) -- Larry Bland, 24, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head early Saturday in the 6300 block of South Wood Street. 

 Bland, of 6347 S. Wood St., had been shot in the head, according toa Cook County Medical Examiner's office spokesman. Lawmen responded about 3:40 a.m. and found him dead at the scene, police News Affairs Officer John Henry said.

Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
