Amber Alert Issued For Indiana Teen

WINAMAC, Ind. (AP)  -- Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 16-year-old north central Indiana girl who was reported missing and may have been abducted.

Stephanie Wagner was last seen leaving the Winamac restaurant where she works at 9:00 last night. Police found her car abandoned this morning a few miles away near Royal Center. Her purse was in the car.

Winamac is located about 2 1/2 hours southeast of Chicago.

Cass County Sheriff's Deputies say she may be with a 51-year-old man driving a 1987 Ford F-250 truck.

Wagner has a fair complexion and shoulder-length brownish blonde hair. She is 5-foot-3 and weighs 109 pounds. She was last seen wearing black pants, a white shirt and black and pink tennis shoes. She has ear and belly piercings.

Anyone with information should call the Cass County Sheriff's Department at 574-753-2195.
