United Raises Fares..Again

CHICAGO (WBBM)  -- Following reports that United Airlines was raising prices of in-flight beverages another fare hike is headed air travelers way.

According to CBS News, United raised fares by $20-$40 roundtrip late Wednesday night for most of its routes without much fan-fare.

The Chicago-based airline is also going to be selling chips, trail mix and other snacks for $3.

The Tribune reports United is raising the price on alcoholic beverages and considering a charge for sodas.
