Summer 2008 Internship Program:
Hiring for Sales, Production, Newsroom, Finance & Special Projects

WBBM-AM Newsradio 780 is accepting applications for the Summer 2008 Internship Program, which will begin in May 2008. The deadline for submitting your application, which consists of a resume and cover letter, is Monday, March 3rd. Interviewing for the Summer 2008 program will begin immediately after the 3/3/08 deadline.

If you think you possess these qualities, please apply to the program:

-professional
-open-minded and positive about work duties
-energetic & enthusiastic self starter
-passionate about working in radio
-follows directions/instructions thoroughly
-detail-oriented
-punctual and dependable
-friendly, works well with others

All applicants must attend an accredited college/university, enrolled as a student gaining a degree in a media related study.  Students must have Junior standing (60 credit hours) BEFORE applying to the program. Interns are expected to work 3-5 days a week (but no more than 36 hours/week). Each student has to be eligible for receiving course credit for the internship, since it is NON-PAID.
