CHICAGO -- No one was injured Friday night after police fired shots during an incident in the Marquette Park neighborhood.
Police say an offender was taken into custody.
Shots were fired by police at 6315 S. Campbell Avenue about 11:15 p.m., according to police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer.
Independent Police Review Authority spokesman Mark Payne confirmed shots were fired by police and no one was struck by the gunfire.
