ROUND LAKE--A teenager missing fsince 2003 has been found alive and well in Mexico.
Police found Zulma Flores, now 18, is living in Celaya, Mexico, with her husband and children.
Flores was reported missing to Round Lake police as a 13-year-old in January 2003. She was finally located by her mother.
Police Chief Clifford Metaxa has said through the years that he did not believe Flores' disappearance was related to foul play. In the months leading up to her disappearance, police responded to her home for 18 runaway complaints and 22 curfew issues.
During the course of the investigation, Round Lake police spent hundreds of hours of manpower and worked with a variety of local, state and federal law-enforcement agencies.
Flores will remain in Mexico.
