Mega Millions rolls over, jackpot grows to $122M
|
CHICAGO (STNG) -- No one matched all six numbers in Friday night's Mega Millions drawing and the jackpot has climbed to more than $120 million.
The winning numbers in Friday night's drawing were: 15 - 24 - 51 - 53 and 55 and the Mega Ball number was 11.
The estimated grand prize for Friday night's drawing was $105 million. While no one matched all six numbers, two people in Illinois matched the first five numbers, for a prize of $250,000, according to the Illinois Lottery.
One of those tickets was sold in the western Illinois town of Reynolds, while the other was purchased by someone -- maybe a commuter heading to the Metra train at Union Station? -- at the Riverside Newstand, 120 S. Riverside Plaza.
The next Mega Millions drawing will be held on Tuesday night, and the grand prize will be an estimated $122 million.
