Man threatens teller, robs Loop bank branch

CHICAGO (STNG) -- FBI agents are on the scene of a bank robbery in the Loop on Wednesday afternoon.
A lone black male wearing a white Kangol hat robbed the MB Financial Bank branch at 303 E. Wacker Dr. about 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to FBI spokeswoman Cynthia Yates.
The robber entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash. Though no weapon was displayed, the note threatened to harm the teller if the man's demands were not met, she said.
He was given money and escaped the bank on foot, Yates said. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds, and was last seen wearing the hat, white button-down shirt, black slacks, black dress shoes with gold buckles and carrying a laptop briefcase.
Agents remain on the scene as of early Wednesday afternoon, Yates said.
