MacArthur Foundation Member Accused Of 'Upskirting'

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill (WBBM)  -- The Arlington Heights man accused of aiming a camera and taking photographs under women's skirts Independence Day weekend is the managing director of real estate for the MacArthur Foundation.

The charge against 47-year-old Timothy Hoeppner: unauthorized videotaping - a misdemeanor.

Reached at his home in Arlington Heights, Hoeppner said he had no comment.

Hoeppner is the managing director of real estate for the MacArthur Foundation.

The Web site of the Pension Real Estate Association also lists him as a board member of that association.

The site's biography of Hoeppner says - quote - "Tim, his wife and two daughters live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.  His interests include working with and teaching children, tennis, volleyball, biking, scuba diving, water skiing, downhill skiing, and photography."

Hoeppner was arrested at Arlington Heights' Frontier Days, where police said he had pretended to adjust his shoe while positioning a small camera to take a photo under a woman's skirt.

Police say they found about a dozen similar images in Hoeppner's camera.
