Hester Holds Out

CHICAGO (WBBM)  -- Two time pro-bowler Devin Hester did not report at Bears training camp Wedneday and is offically holding out for a bigger contract.

In the past he has been frustrated by the lack of movement toward a contract extension, but this is a surprise development despited bogged down negotiations.

He is currently locked into the $2.86 million deal he signed as a second-round pick in 2006 and has two years left on that deal.

Hester and his agent Eugene Parker have been seeking a contract reflective of a first round rookie wide reciever deal.
