WBBM's Regine Schlesinger reports on a new exhibit that opened today on the art and science of glass blowing.

The exhibit explores the art and science of glass, a subject that dates back thousands of years to the ancient Phoenicians.

The museum's Anne Rashford says the exhibit shows the beauty of glass art and looks at its more functional uses.

She expects it will be a very popular exhibit.

Blown Away by Glass runs through September 1st at the Museum of Science and Industry.

There's an extra fee for the exhibit on top of the museum's general admission.
