Feb. 7th - Let's Go Shopping For Retail Stocks


Yes, the retail sector's numbers have been weak, but there are retail stocks worth picking-up for investors willing to look past the short-term and focus on the long haul. 

As Eric Beder, Senior Vice President at Brean, Murray, Carret & Company in New York said during the WBBM Noon Business Hour "Retail is not one of these homogenous markets, its a market that has winners and losers even in the worse of times. 

If you are a long-term investor it's a great opportunity because there are a number of retailers that have great management teams, have beaten expectations and they are still trading near their 52-week lows."   Makes sense to me...Consumers are not going to stop shopping forever.   Yes times are tough but conditions will get better possibly sooner than some skeptics think. 

So....I got on the phone and asked the experts.  Below is a list of retails stocks WBBM Noon Business Hour guests recommended as strong buys...I even threw in a retail stock that I like.....
