Feb. 22nd -- GROSSMAN CONTRACT TALKS

Bears General Manager Jerry Angelo was scheduled to meet with Eugene Parker, the agent for Bears quarterback Rex Grossman on Friday. On Thursday, both Angelo and Bears head coach Lovie Smith reiterated their interest in having the unrestricted free agent Grossman return for 2008. Angelo going as far as to say, he thinks the Bears offer Grossman the best situation.  Tampa Bay is apparently one team also looking at Grossman as a possibility.
