Congratulations Mary Burke of Fremd, You Are the Toyota High School Athlete of the Week!



Toyota will make a $500 donation to Fremd H.S. in honor of Mary's accomplishments.


Became the third Illinois gymnast to win 3 all-around state titles and the second to sweep every individual event at the state meet and lead her school to the team title.

She also set a state-final balance beam record of 9.9.

In a move to shore up morale among rank and file police officers, Chicago Police Superintendent Jody Weis attended a roll call for officers last night across the street from where a teenage girl was fatally shot a week ago on a CTA bus.
