Dec. 26th - BACK TO WORK

After missing Sunday's game against the Packers, linebacker Lance Briggs said he will play in the finale against the New Orleans Saints. A hip injury limited Briggs last week, but he did practice on a limited basis Wednesday.

"I'm gonna play", Briggs said. "I've never been known as a guy....you know I mean if I can't go, I can't go and that's really what it came down to(against Green Bay).

Briggs still has no idea what his future holds with the Bears.

"You don't know. I don't know. We don't know. Nobody knows what's going to happen."

It could be his last game with the Bears as he hits free agency with a big pay day quite likely for the three-time Pro Bowler.
