Woman Gets 2 Years In Prison For Stalking By Cell Phone

CROWN POINT, Ind. (STNG) - A northwest Indiana woman was sentenced to two years in prison Thursday for stalking a man she met over the Internet.

Kathryn Frink-Black, 29, of Dyer, Ind., pleaded guilty to two counts of  stalking, a Class D felony, and was sentenced to two years in prison, according to a release from the Lake County Prosecutor's office.

Prosecutors said that between April 20 and April 27 of 2007, and again between Nov. 6 and Nov. 19, 2007, Frink-Black stalked a 26-year-old Griffith, Ind. man she had met online.

She repeatedly called the man on his cell phone while he was both at home and at work at a Crown Point, Ind., gas station, the release said.
